ABOUT US

  • In every case, we will aim to work with instructing solicitors in order to provide sound, pragmatic advice that achieves the desired outcome.
  • We undertake a balanced mix of Claimant and Respondent work ranging from acting on behalf of the individual employee or small business to Trade Unions and Local Authorities.
  • In addition to working with instructing solicitors, Head of Chambers John Falkenstein is registered under the Public Access Scheme for the Bar. Therefore, companies or individuals who wish to instruct a barrister directly should contact Chambers clerk, Alex McEwen to discuss fees and whether the case is suitable for instructions under the Public Access Scheme.
  • Counsel will consider cases on a Conditional Fee Arrangement on a case by case basis subject to a risk assessment on the papers prior to acceptance.  The Senior Clerk will then agree the fees prior to Counsel accepting the Brief.
